HEI RESEARCH DAY 2024
The Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact held their 21st Annual Research Day on March 7, 2024. Dr. Elizabeth Alvarez and six of her students attended with poster presentations. Sabrina Sorbara, the 2023-2024 project coordinator, presented on how the COVID-19 Policies and Epidemiology Working Group was formed and the project’s deliverables. Amanda Backal, Melanie Bermudez, Ishita Aggarwal, and Rebecca Roy presented posters on their country-specific case reports. PhD candidate Agatha Nyambi also presented on a related project which aims to create a policy framework for COVID-19 vaccination incentives.
WPRN 2021 CONFERENCE
The World Pandemic Research Network was the first global platform for professionals from various background fields engaged in studying the various impacts of Covid-19. This international forum encourages the presentation of current projects, facilitates the exchange of knowledge and findings, and fosters networking for future collaborations. On December 9, 2021, Dr. Elizabeth Alvarez provided an oral presentation on the Limitations of COVID-19 Testing and Reporting Data.
